PM and POKE button

A friend has a question about POKE and PM buttons. When in chat rooms the buttons do not appear under his name.

Which settings should he adjust to allow these?

He has tried to ask in the forum himself, but the question isn't being shown.

No need to adjust anything I'm sure he doesn't want to poke and pm himself it's like that on everybody's profile you will not have them under your own name

sorry, didn't explain properly.

When we are in the chat room, as the PM button does not appear under his name, I can not start a private message with him.

With you now

At the top of the chatroom list ( under cam) there is a Allow private messages and pokes from...click on the down arrow and check settings
