blocking when blocked

Ive just had to block someone,but think they have beaten me to it !

As i have no wish for them to look at my profile or have option of unblocking/messaging me/re:blocking i have also blocked them but they do not appear on my list.

It comes up with the standard site message,is it possible they have been suspended now ?
