I had a username for years and want to go back to it but fab wont let me because its already taken, but i cant find the profile.... any reason why ?

Adding a full stop can, I believe, make it a different user name. Try that to reuse your old name.

The two main reasons for verifications not coming through are a) you've shared an internet connection at some point and b)they are outside your filters or you are outside their filters.
