Not receiving winks even though they have been sent

Anyone know why I never have any winks when I try to view the 'my winks' page, even though i get a notification email telling me I have a wink waiting?

Is there also an issue with previous winkers re-winking you? You get a email but no wink?

its not cos they have left after sending the wink as we have had 2 this week that havent shown on the wink page , and one of those we cant even find the profile

I have had several tests with others but still winks not working as they should - any others?

Posted this in other Forum....

"Has anyone please got any idea why winks don't work and by that I don't mean as a form of initial contact but actually not getting through to the person they are sent.

I have sent some winks to several people on my "hotlist" and nothing so.... sat here this evening with my friend who is part of a couple and sent them a wink - nothing - they didn't get one.

So I sent more a few more and still nothing.

They sent me one and surprise I got a wink but could still not and can still not successfully send a wink.

Does anyone - member, admin or whatever have a clue as I am at a loss and clearly very frustrated now

Would be great if this worked as I prefer to send a "wink" as a first time communication ... if it is reciprocated then it is easier to begin a dialogue..

Same here..and the couple are still here..or at least they were last ime we looked,

It was a shame because we dont get many winks...so we tend to grab them quick..only to find there is nothing there..

Can you contact us privately and copy+paste an email you received where there was no wink.

We'll then get this fixed. There are no winks going missing, there are only two circumstances this happens:

1. users has winked before; notification is re-generated but new wink isn't

2. user is suspended/removes themselves from site post-winking

Not sorted yet but only occurs on these two scenarios so no one is missing genuine winks:

1. users has winked before; notification is re-generated but new wink isn't

2. user is suspended/removes themselves from site post-winking

Ok, as we have cleared all our winks that explains why any friends or previous winks aren't there.

Option 1 on winks here too.

We get the email to say they have winked but no wink.

Sometimes we'd like to send friends a cheeky wink but no point as we know they'd never get it as we'd messaged before.
