Hi

We've searched the forums and FAW but can't see the answer to our question so here goes!

There is someone we know that is on FABwgo is travelling to our area

Neither of us have mentioned anything to the other and that's the way we'd like to keep it

Is there a way we can stop our profile from coming up on their profile on "who's near" / searches and name search but so we can still use "who's near" ?

Would the "block" feature achieve this and if so would they know they had been blocked ?

If you block them then you won't come up on a search. However, if you put up a meet then they will be able to see this.

Only when they try to view your profile it will say:

You can't view this profile

This profile is not available for you to view.

This can be one of three things: User's account is suspended by admin, user has blocked you or you have blocked user.

Were assuming then that although they are blocked we will still come up in "who's nearby" or a search by them ?

I think if you block someone they don't come up when you search and you don't come up when they search.

1. Change your location for the while he's in your area.

2. Don't use your gps while on fab.

3. Hide profile pic.
