'online now'

The 'online now' timers and the green dots don't always seem to be synchronised across all the lists. The 'just now' message updates only after 6 minutes, and sometimes a person appears to be online in one list but not in another. Could the programmers perhaps tweak them so they all work together, and are more immediate? Many thanks. (I hope that makes sense.)

It's only an indication - not the gospel. Live with it.

There are probably sound reason not to be 100% accurate.
