Pics over a year old now removed...

I had pics on my profile that have been up and approved for over a year. They have now been flagged as rejected and removed including my profile pic. As these had been approved for so long the originals have been deleted as I assumed they were safe on fab. It wouldn't be so bad if they had just been set to private but they are now gone and only have the thumbnail next to the rejected message. They were rejected as I wasn't in the pic which seems an odd rule. Half the pics on fab don't show face so they could be pics of anyone yet I have pics I took of a bdsm session with a girl which helped outline my interests to someone visiting my profile and this had been removed. Similar pics have been allowed as they show my hand in the pic which seems crazy as it could be anyone's hand. You have girls profiles that are not photo verified or meet verified with pics on which are approved, but since they are not verified they could be pics of anyone and they are ok.?

Site rules say you must be in your pics....even just part of you.

What's the point of a single male profile having pics of random (I assume) women?

Site rules are very clear on this. I'm just puzzled they ever passed in the first place...someone slipped up at the time.

Hows it an odd rule?? Why have pics if your not in them? Someone has obviously reported them and admin have had another look

What's odd is the fact a hand makes if ok. How do you know it's my hand? And the pic showed a close up of a spanked arse so could easily have been a guy or girl. What I don't get is the rule says you have to be in the pic yet there are countless profiles which are not photo verified and have faceless pics so this could be anyone making the account and anyone in the pic and that's OK as long as it's a girls pic on a girls profile...

well yeah. they have no pics and are unidentifiable. where is the problem with that?

probalem with yours, if they were of someone else and not you, is that you are representing yourself with your profile ina misleading way. the pics are not you but should be.

having none at all means you are not lying, pictorially.

I didn't say no pics I said there's girls profiles where they have pics that don't show face and they are not photo verified on account. That could be a pic of anyone not the account holder and yet they are allowed. I have private pics with face and I'm photo and meet verified. Yet one pic showing a girl in my room doing something that's related to my profile isn't allowed..

oh right.

they aren't veirfied and there is something on their profile to show that they are not so other members know.

know what you mean though, some edit their pics to look like something other/'better' than themselves. the site does remove these pics if they're reported also.

like if it's obvious something is fake or not the person on the profile then they will delete it.

site rules are you must be in the pics, this can be any body part of yourself so if they have made a mistake you can keep the pic but ask for it to be looked at again.

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

There is another factor. It's possible that OP's pics fall foul of the new anti-fisting legislation so while OK when uploaded, are now illegal.

As a aside, I wouldn't want my pics to only exist in a low-res, Fab-watermarked state. Other pic hosting sites are available

It just seems crazy that if I took the same pic and my hand is in the shot its allowed.. a hand in shot doesn't prove it's me in the pic. It seems that the rule is I'm a guy so part of a guy has to be in shot rather than it being a pic showing its me and not a pic from online that I've just downloaded..

The rule is the same for everyone. The profile holder HAS to be in the pic too

The photos must be yours and you must be in the photos. You must be in any photo you upload. This means that photos of your bike/car/dildo collection for example, will be rejected unless you are in the photo too.

What I'm saying is a hand in pic doesnt prove the pic is the account holder it could be anyones hand, so the rule makes no sense.

A mod made a mistake by the looks of it then someone has reported your profile, it gets looked at by an Admin then it gets dealt with by removing if needed.

It isn't worth getting upset over it, you seem to have got away with having pics that were not allowed for a while, just accept they shouldn't have been approved

Well the pics were created from stills for a video I made I'm guessing a couple of frames on my hand is in the shot, so I can remake it again with the hand shown and reupload it. Just seems like a lot of effort when the hand in the shot adds nothing to prove it's me.

It's because you're not in one of the fab cliques who get away with pretty much anything they want to.

OP in a thread you started two weeks ago called "search by body type" you posted "my ass isn't on my profile ... haha! I'm guy that's a girl in the profile pic ...haha!"

I presumed a moderator saw this and that is why your pics were removed.

OP, it doesn't matter how you feel about the rules, let's cut to the chase - did your photos break the rules?

We aren't photo verified because I can't be bothered taking a pic of us with the sign - that doesn't mean we are fake or lying ?

OP the important question here, for me at least, is did the woman know you were using stills of her from a video and do you have a model release?

Yea they knew I had profile pics up from the video we made. It was a meet I used to have regularly but stopped as they came off the site. Also I made sure it was never face pics. X

I didn't say everyone that wasn't photo verified was fake. I just said it seemed odd you have to have an hand in the pic to prove the pic is if you. But someone could just set up a profile with no photo verification and post pics with a hand showing but it in know way proves it's them. But that seems to be all the rule asks .

Why would you want profile pics that aren't of YOU anyway??

What's the point of that? If I was messaged by someone who just had their hand in the pic I'd simply ignore it personally as it's pointless.

I have pics of myself set to private and had left some of the bdsm style pics as public to show some of the stuff I was into. I don't do face pics as public or cock pics. So thought it best to post a pics of stuff showing stuff I'm into like bdsm spanking etc.

Maybe better just to explain in messages or on profile.

Id rather see a pic of the guy whos profile im looking at either face or body than the bare arse of the woman hes spanking...you can note the stuff your into in your profile can you not?

Manchester/ Cheshire border

The rule is the rule.

The rule is a bit daft sometimes (ie including the end of your thumb in an orgy pic means it's OK).

But the rule is still the rule.

You can point that out and maybe suggest a better way to clearly differentiate between OK and not OK pics. Seems reasonable to me that pics on a profile should include the person who's profile it is.

Failing that - I suggest you get over it...
