If you sign up as a site supporter (pretty much the price of a pint these days) there's no limit.

There is probably a reason, maybe an admin can tell you but if you become a site supporter, its unlikely you'll ever exceed the daily limit, if there is one for site supporters.

That is in the pipeline for the future maybe, this post was just to highlight the fact i didnt know about a message cap, if i had have known then i would have not responded to every message.

Being polite doesnt always pay obviously.

The meet is unexpected therefore unplanned, halfway through chatting i got the 'messages exceeded' popup

To your OP....there is a limit but Admin have never said what it is so any numbers posted up there ignore. The limit is big and most people don't run out, you must have talked a lot
