I am too naive and inexperienced to be on this site and have discovered I am definitely straight but done something really stupid in the process; I slept with a T/V without protection giving and receiving, and when I got scared and asked their HIV status, they ignored for a couple of days and blocked me.

I know it is a crime to knowingly expose someone to HIV without telling them but why would they block me without telling me even if they were offended by the question?

Is there anything the site can do to get this information? I won't disclose their name here in case I have nothing to worry about but I'm terrified. I can't eat, sleep, speak or answer the door to anyone. I know its my fault, but I really need help.

Put it down to experience, go to the GUM clinic, explain what happened and get tested, they are non judgemental and will help you with your anxiety, learn from this and use protection in the future.

You need to get checked out as soon as possible.

But in reality it's self inflicted and you have only yourself to blame for not using protection.

The site us not responsible for your sexual health. You are!! Even if they did know that sort of information they couldn't tell you. Go to the GUM clinic and ask for the full range of tests. Be honest with them about your sexual history. They have heard far worse. You may need to go back to be re tested as hiv doesn't show up straight away. Treat this as a lesson learnt.

There is no way the site could get that information and, even if they could, they shouldn't.

The main thing, as others have said, is go to the GUM clinic asap. HIV is quite rare but if you encounter it then SPEED matters. Go today f you can.

Dean St clinic in London is well used to this situation and have all kinds of help on offer.

I'm puzzled how a "definitely straight" guy has fucked and been fucked by another guy. Not just naive but in denial.

However putting that aside get to your local GUM clinic ASAP. Tell them that you're a swinger and that you've had unprotected sex with another man.

HIV is thankfully rare....but lots of other STI's out there!

How long ago was this?

you can receive post exposure prophylaxis for up to 72 hours after a potential exposure to HIV.

The first question I'm asking is do you know what your own HIV status was before you met?

I don't know how you phrased your request for information on your meets status or what went on between you there could be other reasons why you were blocked.

As everyone else has said go and get checked to prevent all this worry. You're young, we all made stupid mistakes...still do. Sort it out, put your mind at rest and move on a wiser person.
