Deleting messages

for some reason I cant delete any sent messages. I cant see how to change settings so I can. Help !!

On my tablet there's a little icon to the right of the message that looks like a battery with a circle by it, tap that.

It's the same on my phone.

On desktop you tick the box to the left and click on delete at the top.

thanks for the information but no icon on my laptop. tried to bulk delete but no joy

When you tick the box for a message and then click the delete button at the top or the bottom of the page, do you then get the "Are you sure you want to delete these messages?" popup?
