I had someone wink me just now but when I go to respond their profile is hidden so cannot reply, surely that isnt right?

Lol I get that but it would be logical to have a reply to wink button on the winks received page. If they want to hide their profile that's fair enough but I don't see why that should preclude you from replying to a wink they sent. Hey it's not my site though, just an observation and suggestion.

Maybe it was an accidental wink. I have done this, hit the wrong button and there isn't an 'are you sure' prompt. So nothing I could do about it.

Even when a profile is hidden, there is a menu on the left, and I think one of those is "send message". I know I often get messages, even when my profile is hidden. Have another look.

Yes you can still send a message to a hidden profile. Message button top left of hidden profile screen.
