I've just been messaged by a man (who openly admits he's a man) but has a single female profile.

To me this is dangerous! Would admin like to contact me for the name and a copy of the message?

Wow WTF???

Within seconds of me posting this the message had completely disappeared and the profile too!! Even when I click backwards several times.

He sounds like he deleted it. In cases like this the best thing to do is report the profile itself and Admin will take a look

I was going to but there is literally no trace and I can't remember the profile name.

I didn't realise you could delete a message after you send it to someone?

You can't, I am assuming the man/ woman deleted their profile. I meant if you need to report anything in future you can from the profile itself

The whole thing has confused the heck out of me haha. Everything disappeared before I got chance to do much more than write this post. I didn't even click on the message to fully read it, the first line was

"single man here, I was just wondering..."

But the name was female and from a single woman's profile

You can usually look at your browser history, and if you looked at their profile, the name of it will be in there.

If you have been messaged by someone who is no longer on the site, the message remains on view in your inbox but instead of profile name it reads "user no longer on site" .

Least that is what my experience is.

I think - and please feel free to correct me admin - that if they just leave then yes unlos but if it's a fake profile and admin remove it then all trace goes - is that right?

Now when a user goes UNLOS their messages disappear with them.

No sorry. Admin disable so they can't use it ( I think of it as a forum of torture

) If the profile has been deleted it is by the person themselves.

It used to be the case that mails stay there even when people go UNLOS but now they may disappear too
