No, only Admin can do that, but you would need a compelling reason why.

If you block the profile, your veri won't appear on it.

If you haven't received it then it could be because your filters don't match ie you are outside their age range or have you shared an internet connection?

Have you checked your 'Manage Verifications' page? You have to choose to show/hide them first.
