I have received an auto block - so I can reply to any messages - for using some word that may be banned. The problem is that I have little idea what the word is because I have used the words in the recent past. Any advice fab monitors?

You Dont Need to Know, right now

Fab uses automatic software, to prevent spam, including website addresses. Unfortunately, the software sometimes sees web addresses, when they're not there. E.g if you typed "See you at 7 pm.Come to the blue door", this could be read as something dot com. The ban on sending messages is automatic, and usually lifts itself after a couple of hours. If problems persist, use the Contact link to ask site admins to lift the ban

It restored after 15 min but the content had no punctuation and no words joined together to suggest an external site

If it happens again, I will do that

I'm currently having the same trouble nothing in the msg was a content that breaks the rules at all yet I have been blocked from msging or replying. Its been hours the ban still not been lifted I have tried to contact admin using the contact us page but still nothing!! Not a happy bunny. Is there another way admin can be contacted to lift my ban?

No, thats the correct way to contact them. They will have a look at your report as soon as they can, but it just depends how many they have to go through so you might have to be patient.

We've all done it at sometime I know I have and no matter how may times I read the message the ban came from, I couldn't work out what they could see so gave up worrying

I'm not worried, just annoyed that I have bren talking to someone for months arranged a meet with him tonight and because admin have put a ban on my msgs and its still not cleared hours and hours later he now thinks I'm wasting his time!

Wouldn't it have been better to have swapped numbers at the point of suggesting a social tonight then? Just in case something did go wrong, as has done?

Not sure you can blame fab for this?

I don't give my number out until I have met! I have learned from previous mistakes!

And fab putting a block on my msgs for no apparent reason, erm yes I would say thats the sites fault.

It's better to give it out first on the day of the meet, if anyone abuses your number you can then block them

I have gave my number out before and he turned stalkerish I had to report it to the police blocked number and then was ringing on withheld threatening me. Then put my number into facebook and harassed ne that way too! So now I refuse to put myself through all that drama so I don't give my number out simple as!

Put a message for your date on your status or that you can't reply to messages because you have a ban - ask the person to message you their number or use Kik messenger which is discreet as it only requires user names

He's blocked me calling me a timewaster and I don't use kik or Skype or snap chat. 10 hrs and the ban is still on! Getting so annoyed now!

admin have not even got back to me either.

I was banned again - for possibly using the word incest in a message
