what does this mean

Delete message text (delete only available to you for the next couple of minutes)

This removes the message text and replaces with a "Deleted" message

thing is there is 2 week left on this thread and it will be finished so it can be deleted all together then so i think its a bit silly closing a thread before its finished and i dont think its fair when im waiting on reply.

Can you start a "thread 2" or something similar in this case?

Would it not work out better that threads are deleted after 3-4 months if not been re-opended, apart from the ones on site help as they can always be re-opened to give people help.

well i think its stupid when the thread can be deleted all together in 2 weeks. and makeing a new one just confuses people silly idea.

It'd be good to think that the threat of a thread being closed because of the amount on inconsequential posts being made to it would help concentrate some contributors' minds - but somehow I doubt it.

That was last night Sassy,today it seems that they're not being automatically closed and the ones that were closed have now been reopened

Has to agree with Carol on this 1 ......... if admin are gonna change the site rulles and regs on forum post length the least they can do is inform people!!! After all lots of us are "paying" members not just the freeloaders!!!!!

well starting to be the norm on here admin changing things without letting the members know ........

starting to feel like second class citizens as "genuine swingers" not the wankers fakes n wannabes that it's full of!!

I know we have alernative sites but come on if your going to run this site run it for the people its supposed to be for not a crowd of hangers on!!!

We did make a note of the change above, but had to roll back last week

We rolled forward again this week

If a thread is closed it says why, just start a new one if it's causing problems
