user names

Hi all, noticed that some user names are in black type, some in grey, is this because the greys are newbies?? or is there another reason?

Did try to find without having to ask here but couldn't spot anything

User-names are greyed-out when you have looked at that profile before.

My Own Little World

Once you clear your browser history and cache those grey names will turn black again. You will notice that forum thread names turn grey after you have looked at them also.

Quite a few places.... e.g. in search results, in Forum threads, in the chat room (although they are "purpled-out" in the chat room, just to add confusion).
