How can I prove I was in the armed services?

I have recently had a photo of me rejected because I am holding a weapon in the photo, the reason I was given for the rejection was:

"We can't accept photos that show weapons (unless you're in the armed services )"

So how can I prove I am?

Is there any need for it? If you feel it is important to you on here, then just mention it on your profile.

I don't think many people deem a weapon necessary for a meeting?

Why would you want a picture of you holding a weapon to advertise yourself on a swinging site?
