We are verified. If someone is sent a verification and they choose NOT to display it on their profile, will a note of it still show, as some do, below the Menu Boxes on left hand side? We have asked some if they have met and been verified and they say yes but we don’t show who has verified us. We think this is wrong as it should show as a note even if it's not being displayed!

Go to account then manage verifications, it asks you if you want to show the summary

The little green tick shows been verified, I choose not to publicly display ours,,but available if requested. Go to privacy setting, gives you the option there to display summary or verifications. Jules

People can do what they like with their profile if they choose to show or hide thier verifications thats up to them!

Yes we know people can do what they like with their profiles and we are not suggesting they can't, we are just trying to understand the verification system.

Got it now, the verification summary can be hidden, so even though you have received a verification you don't have to show the detail or the summary. I just turned off our summary and the detail still showed. I turned the summary back on and switched off one a detail and it still showed in the summary. Now understand why people can say they have met and be verified and we can't see that on their profile. We don't care who has verified them but would be nice to know if they have been verified at all. But hey ho them's their rules. Thank you for the information and help.

You can see if someone has been verified by the green tick on their profile. That they have no control over-no tick no very...the green flag is that they have been photo verified by the site...mostly pointless

Yes we knew that which is what prompted our question about the summary as we couldn't understand how someone can show the green flag and not a summary, we didn't know you could switch that on and off.

Green flag is purely photo verification not actual verification . There wouldn't be a summary for thwt

you can ask someone if they can show a few veris for a few minutes so you can read them, their choice is they will or not. Some may throw a strop and stop contact, some will be happy to oblige.
