You can only delete it yourself within the first five minutes or so. After that, only the forum moderators can delete it. You can click 'report' on your own thread, and ask the moderators to delete it, explaining why. They may oblige, or they may decide not to.

You cant delete a forum thread, only your own post for a few minutes after you have posted.

If you want to delete a thread for some reason you can report your own post on it and Admin will review.
