cam problems

Hi all, just posting this in case others have had or are having problems with thier cam not working in chat room. I have tried for 2 days to get my cam up and running and tried ALL the ideas on the help page, all to no avail. I have just reverted back to an older webcam on my older win 7 system (running win 10 on new system) and have been able to activate my cam.

Would be interesting to know if anyone else has had problems running win 10?

Hi Want....if you stick to one thread it is best

On another thread there is advice to use Firefox and see if that works, also plug a microphone in, sometimes that works.

It might be Edge ( which was a pig for me without even using the cam) Try Firefox or Chrome and see if that works

Hi rugby, Not sure what "edge" is but I have looked at all other options, firefox. chrome, even looked through the sit problem page and gone through their problem solving solutions. Have found I can get my cam working on my win 7 system. Will continue to look for solution for my win 10. (not tried with microphone, will give that a try tomorrow). Thanks.
