I've been told by some one that they verifed me on Monday but it still isn't showing on my profile

If you have shared an internet connection with them or if you have filters set and they are outwith your them it wont go through

No we had a face to face meeting we are both with in each others age range and she sent request when she got home

I think those are the only 2 reasons that stop a verification coming through ...

1) you are outside their filters, or they are outside your filters.

2) you have shared an internet connection with them at some point in the past - when you say you had a face-to-face meeting was it e.g. in a coffee shop where you both (separately) checked Fab from your phones? This might count as sharing a wifi-connection.

If neither of these are true (and the other person is already verified), maybe asks them again if they are sure they did the verification properly.

Darn she did use my wifi the time before her last visit and the first time we met we both used the free one in the pub
