So yesterday we had a thread where people said 'I will be a X place this weekend and will give you a verification if you turn up'.

Are we allowed to do this in the chat rooms too? Say in the forum or in the chat room 'if you appear on cam, chat briefly and you prove you are not just a piece of looping video, then I will give you a verification'.

And do the verifications we give out appear on our profile anywhere? I can't see a way of seeing who has verified someone else, but perhaps I am missing something?

Verifications you give out don't appear on your profile so unless they verify you back the only people who would know are those they looked on the other person's if they choose to display it.

I have seen people out status's up asking to be verified on cam and offering to verify people and I don't think there is anything wrong with asking in cam chat if anyone wants a veri at that time.

Could be seen as directing? I know i got a warning once when a guy wanted verifying and we arranged to meet in fab chat and i asked him to turn his cam on so i could see him.

Yeah. I can't remember which room i went in but i know i never use directing rooms.

A lot of guys pretend they want cam verifying when they want something else too, that's why i stopped offering, but it might go better for you. Good luck.

We think cam verifications are a waste of time, most are given then hidden on the profile, regularly I have seen veris given to a wanking cock on a couples profile the women no where to be seen..lol.. Connie x

No, it can be done in regional room, just cant tell them to do anything specific like hold mug up in the air.

Ive verified people in regional rooms if i think they genuine

To an extent i fully agree, they dont prove someone meets, however I can also see flip side in that women/couples wont reply to men unless they have verification tick.

I guess admin see webcam as a solution for people to get that tick.

I personally wont arrange to meet anyone that solely has a string of cam veries, no meet veries etc

Well, verifications don't mean you will turn up to a meet either. Anyone can decide for any reason not to go.

Cam verifications serve a good purpose - they allow people to PM and arrange meets in the chat room.

You disagree that cam verifications allow you to PM people in the chat room? Disagree all you like, it's a fact!

It's your prerogative to reject someone if they only have cam verifications. I'm sure you'd reject people that didn't have any either too - so it's not like it would make a difference.
