Just wondering if the wink function can be turned off altogether?

I've looked through site help but can't see anyone else who's asked so hopefully no one will mind my post.

I've just looked through the settings pages and can't see a button to do that no. I just ignore winks, don't delete the ones sent as they then can't wink again I believe.

I know. Just want to turn off the wink function my end. I've no interest in winks. My opinion they're just lazy. I know others like them so each to their own. I'm also not keen on those who I've had to block can still wink me. Not sure why they're still trying after being blocked but hey ho . Thanks for trying to help though. Merry Christmas!

You Dont Need to Know, right now

I'd also like to be able to do this. I don't look at winks, I don't want winks. It would be good if the winker got a message "this user has turned off winks", so that they know they have to try a different way of getting a message through.

If you bothered to read previous comments you would of seen what the issue is! Your attitude and inability to do some work before commenting rudely speak volumes. I can block practically anything unwanted from my profile except winks. Others may use them as a lazy form of communication but myself and others actually choose to put some effort in and message people. Least I can do considering If I'm trying to for their attention, I'm after their body. It's called respect. You should try it

I don't click on the winks link. But if you look on other threads, you will see people explaining why they use winks, instead of sending a message. I think it would be helpful FOR THOSE PEOPLE to know that I am never going to see their wink, so they should try a different way of getting in touch.

Prestwich

Not a fan of..

would prefer a proper message to a wink, especially considering 90% of the people i wink back then do nothing about it after!

Messages over winks,every time
