problem with webcam

I have downloaded the latest version of adobe yet I still can't see other cams or use my cam in the beta chatrooms - old chatrooms are fine. Help! I'm using Windows Vista, camera is a built in Chicony USB 2.0 camera, which works fine in MSN messenger and like I say the old chatroom.
