I reported a profile many weeks ago, as the profile pics were stolen from somebody I know (who has never been on here). I told them I would be happy to prove it, as I know she would be horrified to find out that somebody is using her pics.

It appears that nothing has been done by the mods, as I've noticed this profile was still active two weeks ago.

Do the mods do anything about things like this?

I don't know how to contact them to put this point to them.

I'm saying this because I've reported another one who is using fake pics. I've even sent the link to the pics.

What are others members experiences of this sort of thing?

go to the profile and click report and give admin as much details as you have about it.

I've already done that though, that's my point.

The mods have done nothing about it seemingly?? I'm a bit annoyed as I feel they have a duty to look into these things.

I haven't told my friend about it, as I thought this person had stopped using the profile. I've just checked and they have been active again 2 weeks ago.

I've kept the profile on my hotlist, as they have obviously blocked me because I messaged them telling them I knew they were fakes.

What can I do?

Have you not thought that seeing as it has been 2 weeks since the profile has been active then the profile has been suspended by Admin?

Seeing as they have blocked you then you will only get to see the usual message when you try and look at the profile i.e. -

"This profile is not available for you to view.

This can be one of three things: User's account is suspended by admin, user has blocked you or you have blocked user. "

So you don't know for sure if the profile is still in use or is suspended; do you?

I reported it more thsan 6 weeks ago, maybe two months. I'd noticed that the profile wasn't active for much longer after that, and then seemed to be unused, so I thought it was sorted.

After today's other incident reporting, I checked my hotlist, and noticed it was last active 2 weeks ago.

So that's how I know it is still being used well after I reported it.

report it again. Just think how many reports admin get every single day, they are run off their feet with it and they are only human after all.

If all else, tell your friend and tell her to report it to the police.

admin gets loads of reports etc a day so getting them done in the matter of hours or sometimes even days is not possible as im sure they have jobs, familes etc aswell and can not be here 24/7

at the end of the page at the very bottom you will see

click contact and just follow the steps

easier still just open up the profile (although the text cant be seen) the "report" button is still there

You have been given the wrong advice here....to REPORT someone you do it from the profile itself and not from the contact button at the bottom of the page.

Even if a person has you blocked, if you click on their profile there will still be a REPORT button to the left of the profile where the menu bar was.

If a profile is disabled by Admin the people can still log into the site, they just can't do anything else, and why you might see them being active by logging in.

I am going to past to the bottom of this post what Admin have said happens to reports and how you won't get feedback.....but to be honest, your friend who's pics it is should be the one doing the reporting, not you as I don't know how you can give any proof of the pics being of someone else, as you can't produce the evidence needed for a report to be investigated.

Here is an explanation from Admin from another thread on how they deal with reports.

******Just a quick note. If people report others and we can verify that they have broken site rules, we always take action (either a first and final warning, partially suspended account, fully suspended, mixture of the above).

Every single report sent via the REPORT link is reviewed. Clearly it's not in our interests to have people on here who are bad for the site. Equally we need to verify what has been reported and be fair to those who have been reported.

PS. we never provide feedback on what has happened. It's just not practical given that we get 100s of reports a day.

Here is what the page says after a report has been submitted:

Your feedback has been saved.

A website admin will shortly review your feedback and take the necessary action. After reviewing the evidence available to us, we may disable an account, remove a user, disable certain aspects of that user's account or issue a warning.

By leaving feedback you help improve the site for everyone who uses it. Thank you.******

If you click on that link from the CONTACT button it gives you this message......

http://www.fabswingers.com/contact-us/report ......which tells you to use the REPORT link on the profile.

Only Admin can sort anything, you really do need to take the advice of reporting any profiles and letting them deal with it, as a mod can't do anything but report the same as you.
