Been naughty again...

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

I was going to send a link to a friend, but got a popup , the site saying I couldn't to prevent spam, please go back and remove link.

Fair enough, although I've previously received links from friends... Anyway, there was no point sending the "see this link" message without an actual link, so I didn't bother.

I then went to reply to a message from someone else, only to find I now have a message ban.

...for not doing something?

Admittedly it's only a couple of hours (is that two or three?), but surely if the checks are there to prevent the crime, there's no need for a punishment?

Its the same when a pic gets rejected its still classed as an uploaded pic but no one can ever see it only you

Well, it's not in my sent items, whereas as rejected pic shows up in my pics list.

So, not sure how it's the same?

A rejected pic still goes against the number of pics you are allowed to upload if its been rejected it should,nt count same as you could,nt send your link but you are still punished for trying

You sent a link that has been used before by spammers. In these cases we manually add the known link/domain to our custom blacklist. The block on messages will auto expire shortly.

We do these kind of time blocks to help keep the site free of spam. Occasionally innocent people will get a block
