North of The Wall - youll need your vest

You might need to give us a bit more of a clue than that

But from FAQs:

Verifications we try to leave for another user aren't being saved

If you're trying to verify another account that you have created yourself or you're trying to verify someone who is using the same PC as yourself, or you're on the same internet connection, then the verification won't be recorded. We do this to stop people creating fake accounts and verifying them themselves.

If the veri says saved but isn't sent over check your preferences.

I had to change my age range earlier to verify a girl friend.

Message said veri saved but her profile showed not received. I changed my age range and it was accepted and showed on her veri count instantly x

If you've used each others wifi then you'll have to only log in to your own (each) for a while before you'll be able to verify him.

Previously forumites have stayed at mine and used my wifi (and vice versa) but after a few days back on our own Internets veri's have worked
