Being Messaged but can't View Profile or Reply?

We're being messaged by a profile who we're fairly sure hasn't blocked us, but we can't view the profile or reply?

I don't think it can be that we're on her block list, otherwise she wouldn't be able to message us surely?

If you get the message that says something like 'you have blocked this user, they have blocked you or the profile has been suspended by Admin' then it means that they have either blocked you after sending the message or the profile has been suspended

Profile's not suspended as it shows when we're logged out, and it's not a block because she's messaged us AFTER it first seemed that there was a block?

So unless someone is blocking us between messages just to be awkward then it must be something else...

Additionally, when we try and reply it says:

"Sorry, you can't send private mail to this user

Why?"

With nothing appearing after the word "why"
