Hi, what does a deleted message with a strike-through the subject title mean?

It means it's been deleted.

But some have a strike-through and some don't, hence why I'm asking!

Read and deleted are struck through. Just read aren't.

Some are deleted with a strike-through and some are deleted without, what is the difference?

so what is it when a profile shows someone has messaged you, and you them, but there is no record of it in your messages? assuming i haven't deleted and both profile still exist and are fully accessible
