Is there a mail box limit?

I get over 50 mails a day should I be saving or archiving them as I feel I may have lost some already?

They go onto page 2, 3, etc so they aren't lost as such, but to get to them you have to delete the newer messages and the older ones will start to reappear at the bottom of the page.
