Blocks disappearing

Earlier today I blocked a guy.

He definitely showed up as being on my block list.

After that I returned to my block list, clicked on his profile and reported him.

This was on the mobile.

I have returned home and checked my block list and he's not showing on it.

I clicked on his profile and can't view it. It says the usual, sispended, blocked you or blocked.

This isn't the first time this has happened and seems to be when I block then report.

Weird tho!

If admins block him then he comes off your blocklist.

As you have reported him admin appears to have given a permanent block which you can't remove. As its an admin block he isn't on your list.

My friend has just looked at his profile and it's still up and running and visible.

I think it's a specific sequence of actions relating to how I blocked then reported.

Yes it is. Admin blocked his profile from you and yours from him because you reported him.

Why wouldn't it be? It is only a block not kicked off the site

Ah, that makes sense.

I didn't know what an admin block meant.
