Question for admin really as I know about being on the same connection, age , filters etc.

I go into hiding a lot recently found out that a couple of people believed they had left me verifications although I've never received them. It caused a bit of upset. The only thing I can put it down to is that the profile was hidden when they left them can you confirm please.

You have to be verified by other people not just pic verified to be able to give other people you meet a verification

You are photo verified not meet/cam verified. You can only write a veri for someone if you are meet/cam veried, green tick. If they have a tick they can veri you then you can write one for them.

Hi,

Sorry you're having problems verifying someone.

The verification system is key to trust on here and we have safeguards to stop it being abused.

These are some reasons a verification might not save:

* If you're sharing or have shared a wifi or internet connection or computer we'll probably not save the verification. This stops people creating fake accounts and verifying themselves.

* If you have created another account, you'll be unable to verify it.

* If you'd be blocked from messaging some by their filters or blocks, or age preferences, we'll not save the verification.

If a verification hasn't saved and it's genuine, and it's not for an account you created yourself, you might want to try again in 24hrs when you're using different internet connections.

PS. don't forget that the recipient of the verification needs to actively choose to publish it to their profile so you won't see it published the instant you leave it.

Okay I knew all this but doesn't answer the one thing I need to know

Someone claims they left me a verification which has not shown up they were/are on my friends list,within my age range and not on the same connection at the time.

I hide my profile a lot and wondered if that could the reason as it's not the first time it has happened.

If someone who verified me has blocked me, does the verification disappear as I thought this only happened if they left the site?

Yes Curvy the written version will disappear but the number remains in summary

You need to go to manage verifications and set them so they can be seen.

However, if the people who sent them have left the site or blocked you then you not be able to show them.
