No you didnt but if you block them it does stop them showing it, but it doesnt actually delete it, so if you unblock them it will show again.

You cant actually delete a veri that you have either sent or received

Even though as we are constantly told a verification belongs to the author

Why would anyone want to delete a veri they have sent anyway.

Surely the veri is a summary of how a meet actually went , eg turned up , they were as their profile said and not older bigger ect.

The only reason I can see for someone to want to take it away is because of something that happened after the meet which shouldn't affect the meet as that should have been an honest reflection.

Oh I know what I mean , it's probably just me and my way of thinking.

No, it makes perfect sense to me! And I agree!

It makes sense to me too.

But.. the meet may be great then the person turns into a mad abusive stalker (for example) then I would want to remove my nice veri...

..........

I agree...the veri is indeed a reflection of the meet, but sometimes things can change massively afterwards for loads of reasons...and sending another veri saying 'actually this person turned out to be a grade one knobhead who pestered my life for months' is unlikely to be read by anyone!

Someone might want to delete a veri because they have made a simple spelling mistake and want to put it right

I only blocked one single guy. I left him a nice verification, then his WIFE turned into a mad abusive stalker, threatening me with all sorts (on email, not on here). So I blocked him for lying about his marital status, in order to remove my verification.
