I ve recently been blocked from replying to messages or even sending them and have to wait until block is lifted ... Why is this is there something wrong with site or is it just me ?

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

You need to contact admin using the link at the bottom of the page then. They sometimes restrict by mistake and need to know if there's a problem.
