Ok, new to this cam thing & need some help!!,

We are a couple, our ideal scenario is me camming with a guy, while hubby on a different laptop/mobile watching in a different room/work. He needs to see what I'm saying as well as doing. How can he see the Private Messages? Also, how do I get messages shown on general chat as opposed to Private message??

Ive read that we can open a secondary account & state its for cam use only, but again, no idea how to do this...

One account only permits ONE device to be logged in to Chat. You can set up a second account, so that both of you can be in Chat at the same time - to do this, log out, and use the 'sign-up' link on the front page (you will need a different email account for this).

However, even if you are both in Chat at the same time, only one of you will be able to see the private messages - you can't invite a third person into your PM chat.

Hi, thanks for that...hubby already has a single guy account, but obviously he's not privvy to what me & another guy are saying to each other. Is there any way I can make all my messages to appear in.'general' as opposed to private? X

Talk in the room, not in private chat. Make sure it's a directing room though, or you'll both get kicked out.

How do I talk in the room, lol ( sorry if that's me being thick! ). I just logged on, people messaged me & it was all private. How do I make sure its in the room? Thanks. X

When you enter a chat-room, look to the top right (under your cam) where it says "allow pokes and private messages from" - set this to "no-one", and you won't get any additional chat-boxes popping up. Then, everything you type will appear in Main Chat.

Once you're used to how the Chat boxes work, you can reverse this, and people will be able to private message you again. However, you might prefer to leave your pm's off, and take the initiative in choosing who (and how many) private message boxes to open. If you just have your pms set to 'anyone', little boxes will pop-up, over your existing boxes, and you will lose track of who you are talking to.
