Accidental friend invites

I have accidentally pressed 'friend invite' button - does anybody know how to reverse the action, i.e. cancel the invite? Thanks in advance.

I think if you block... Then unblock the invite is removed

Or do as I do, send them a message saying it was accidental and could they just ignore it.

I think there should be a 'do you reall want to send a friend invite' button.
