Been trying to upload a couple of new profile pix but when I select it goes back to site and says no image chosen. Is it me doing something wrong or is there a problem?

Is the pictures in the correct format ? Also don't forget to select who is appearing in the photo.

I don't even get that far. It's a pic of myself that I've cropped so maybe that's the problem.
