going from silver to gold membership

we are silver members at the moment 111 days remaining, and have reached our photo limit,

we wondered if we upgraded to gold would we lose all of our membership or would the silver days get converted to gold?

No, you'd get the full length in gold plus the bonus days. We do it every time

So the amount of silver days gets converted to gold days, or do the days halve like it should?
