verification not showing

I met a couple socially today. I left a verification (their first) but it is not showing.

I am outside their hard age preference (18-50 only).

Is this why it is not being saved?

The answer seems to be yes.

I now have a friend invite from them - writing another verification seems to have now been saved.

The form really shouldn't allow me to go through the whole process of leaving a verification - if it will not be saved.

"If you can't message them because of blocks/filters, any verification you try to leave won't save

(Otherwise we figure some people would just use the verification system to bypass that)
