Public Friend Lists

I've noticed that on profiles with public friends lists the order in which the names of friends are displayed seems to change from day to day.

Can anyone explain why and how this happens please?

Maybe when they add a new friend they go to the top of the list.. Don't no tbh i don't really take much notice of friends lists i don't like to stalk lol

No idea, but is it something to do with how recently the friend has logged on, like it is when you look at your own friends list?

Some people add and/or remove people from their friends list on a regular basis and for all kinds of reasons. Just as they display or hide their verifications.

Thanks for that- I suppose deleting/adding people may affect the order that they're displayed
