unable to verify

Hi All

So....I've sent a verifiable pick with us both on and hand written paper on photo with correct details.

I've had a couple we met try 3 times to verify us....

But alas still no verification!!!!

When I go to my account, the verify option has gone as if it has gone through ok.

So I tried to verify a couple we had met but cant do that either.

Can anyone help me please?

What I am about to paste is on the FAQ from Admin.

Verifications we try to leave for another user aren't being saved

If you're trying to verify another account that you have created yourself or you're trying to verify someone who is using the same PC as yourself, then the verification won't be recorded. We do this to stop people creating fake accounts and verifying them themselves

I'm not using the same computer as them and no its not another account we have created ourselves.

I've just checked again on my profile and can not see any verifications.

Am I doing something wrong? ie should I be able to see verifications on my own account and should I also be able to verify others??? Im at a loss. Sorry if I sound dumb but I have looked at FAQ.

You need to be verified before you can verify someone else. If the couple you have met are also unverified then they will not be able to verify you either.

oo thats a lot of verifieds lol

I think you may need to be verified by phone/cam/meeting in person before you can verify someone else - not just photo verified.

Not sure but this might be the problem.

You are not verified until you have the green tick by your name. Photo verified only shows a green flag.

As others have said on this thread, it could be the couple you are trying to verify are not verified either?

The couple we have met are verified and have verifications on their page. They have tried 3 times now to verify us but no joy.

Is there a site administrator reading this that can look into it?

I'm not sure that's exactly true?

I've just recently returned to the site after a years absence without having any prior verifications!

I've been verified and was able to verify others and vice versa.

you wont be able to verify anyone unless you are first verified hun. I dont mean fab verified I mean verified by another member xxx good luck x

You can't verify anyone else unless you have met,spoken on the phone or cammed with someone who is verified and then verifies you

Hey we are the couple and we are well and truely verified lol and not using the same computor either, I have sent three now to no avail quite annoying as I'm a gold site supporter and have been for sometime, this shouldn't happen as if we are paying for use of sites extra bits we shouldn't encounter problems and someone who deals with the technical side should attemp to solve it.

Are they verified by other members, or photo verified? Being photo verified does NOT allow you to verify others.

Right....

We are photo verified only. We are not verified by others as they seem unable to verify us after we have met. We are also unable to verify others who have been photo verified and ALSO verified by other people.

The people trying to verify us are 1) Photo Verified, 2) Verified by others 3)unable to verify me but can verify others.

We are a silver site supporters and have definately been photo verified. Have a green flag on profile. We are not using the same computer/Lan/IP address as anyone trying to verify us.

So why can we not get it to work. We have sent a report to the bugs/fixes people on the contact bit of the site admin, but have received no reply and problem still not resolved.

Just finding all a bit frustrating as not getting full benefit of the site and extras weve paid for.

So Im hoping a site member may have experienced the same and have an answer.

The couple who are trying to verify you have shared your IP in the past.

Looks like this is just a co-incidence. We'll look into this more next week. Anyone else will be able to verify you fine.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not a network expert, but how does a couple we met that live nowhere near us, We have never been to each others houses and have only just met happen to share the same IP address?

The verification system is designed not to allow this type of verification to stop people creating other accounts and cheating the system.

He'll need to get someone he has met to verify him.

i had a similar problem using aol so went on site via IE and it went through fine

same as bbc i player it says newcastle is not in the uk when on aol

we are having the same kind of problem

we have been photo verified (the green tick has been added to the top of our profile) and when we go to try verify another user who we have chatted to on cam it gives us this message

"Sorry, you tried to access a page that is for verified users only. Once you have met or cammed with other verified users, they will be able to verify your profile for you."

can anyone help with this as the T&C are not rather clear about this subject

Being only Photo Verified doesn't allow you to verify others after a meet for example.

You will need to be "meet/cam/phone verified" by another member before you can verify others.

Hi, we are having t&e same problem, met someone on fri we have both been previously verified, have tried. to verify each other but nothing, we are not using the same computer or ip. adress, also tried with a different computer that wasnt with AOL, still don't get 3ach others verifications. Please can you help. Cheers
