If I click on a members profile, the icons tell me if I am a friend and when I last sent or received a message. It would be nice to click and hyperlink to the sequence of messages to/from them rather than hunting through the Sent and Read messages.

Whilst we still have a record of when the messages were sent/received

Many times the actual messages won't exist (e.g. users have removed them).

So we can't link direct to them.
