Is it possible for a menber to use your username pretending to be you . I received a msg from a nasty member saying they had been contacting other members pretending to be me r

No one can have the exact same username as you but they can have one that is very similar. I've always been Legs on various profiles on here but after one break I had to add an ! at the end of it as someone else used Legs in the meantime.

Do a search of your user name and it will show up all the other variations.

Thank you for ur msg , I had taken a break from fab and when I rejoined I was unable to use my old username . Seems they must have taken my name while I was off the site . Thanks again

Your user name is only 'yours' for as long as you're a member. Once you delete your profile it's free for anyone else to use.
