"Block" for messages.

I'm trying to reply to my messages and got this:

"Sorry you can't send messages just now. Try again in a couple of hours the block will have cleared!"

Why? Can anyone tell me?

Maybe something to do with the clocks changing. Corrupted the message amount people have sent maybe.

Might be a good thing in some cases.
