We have our message filters set to block single males but today we have received a message from a single male.

Do filters actually work?

Yes. If you've messaged/friended/winked him before, he can mail you. View his profile to check, it should say at top.

If you're on a mobile it's at the top of their profile but on a PC it's on the left hand side of their profile

According to the information given when we look at the profile is that no message was sent from us to him prior to him messaging us and he definitely not on our friends list
