As a relatively new member I'm still exploring many aspects of the site.

Perhaps I'm missing something somewhere, but could someone tell me if there is any way of searching the text in someone's profile?

The "Interested in" categories within the search area don't seem broad enough to encompass all preferences, so thought it might be good to be able to search what people write about themselves and their interests, but cannot see how to do this.

Any guidance would be gratefully accepted

At the moment there is not text search of profiles. We know that the search facilities we offer have room for improvement and we have a project scheduled to make improvements to these later in the year.

You can use google search for those profiles which have been allowed to be visible outside the site

Just enter the keyword "site:" then this web site then your search text
