FabSwingers.com forum: iPad + ios8 Chat Room Issue

I've used my iPad for lazy in bed checking of cams for a while now, but now the new ios8 is out, we just waited for what it would break... Sure enough loads of things have changed. Surprise surprise, go Apple...

One issue I'm having though is on the chat cams. I used to be able to load a chat room, say, directing room 2, then enlarge the chat window, and click on cam icons to watch the cam feed. Switching between each cam was simple, just click another cam icon and it would change.

However... In the new ios8 update it seems this is no longer the case. Clicking any button results in the keyboard appearing. You then have to Hide the keyboard and reclick what you wanted in the first place. This makes the old one click method now take three clicks and a screen change, which results in you losing your scroll point.

Am I going crazy or is this a known issue to others?

There will be Apple issues and not the chatroom program. I'm no expert but is it the same in all browsers, maybe try chrome?

yeah, we know its an apple issue.

the problem only started with IOS8. Browser is safari.

Thing is, the developers of the chat system may have to tweak something to make it ios8 compatible, hence we raised the problem with them here.

yeah, ipad.

Does the same with my wife's ipad and only started after ios8 update.

We've since updated to 8.02 but no improveement.

Since updating to IOS8 on my phone, although I check the keep me logged on box, as soon as I go to another site I get logged out and have to log back in, very annoying-any solution please?

Check cookie settings for Safari.

I'm getting exactly the same on my iPad - screen jumps everytime you go to press something because the keyboard appears

I like to sometimes okay with G while watchig cams and it's a little awkward fumbling about at certain "times"

I recently did the ios9 update on iPad and it ruined my iPad. I had to take it to the apple shop and get it wiped. Lost all my pics.

My iPad and iPhone are asking for the ios9.1 update but Im scared to do them in case it happens again.
