Hello

If a friend request then change their profile name and block me, can the friend request still be accepted?

I'm confused!

Who sent the request?

If you're blocked - you're blocked!

A name change won't affect that as it's still the same profile. If a new profile is set up however..........

Friend request sent to me which I didn't accept or decline. They then blocked me and changed profile name but the friend request is still there in the new profile name.

I was under the impression that once blocked they would vanish from any list - but evidently not.

But if they blocked you why would you want to accept the invite anyway?

They stay on friend request list. I have blocked someone before and they drop from friends list and a request appears. I have done it to someone by mistake and then readded them as a friend and they then become friends again automatically without the other person having to accept x

Because I didn't want to be blocked

I suspect few want to be blocked.

It bothers some more than others though - I'd take a block as a hint personally!

But you also don't really want to be their friend or you would have accepted the request when it was first sent. Time to move on.
