You,have about five mins after you post to delete.

Other than that if you think you've broken forum rules or have inadvertently posted something not suitable for open forum use the report button on,the post and report your own post - I know of an instance where someone posted a name without thinking and the named person wanted their details removed from the forums and the mods obliged.
