Why is it only available for a few minutes?

Quite a crap rule really, surely being able to remove it whenever would save space on the servers?

Also about saving space , why put ' user has removed post' etc . . It'd be easier to just, you know, actually remove it! Save space on threads on servers

Who wants to have complete removal at all times? I don't want my recent threads I've posted to to be full of old threads I've posted to

The option is only available for a short time to give you a brief opportunity to delete - in case of a last minute change of mind, a typo - or the sudden realisation that naming and shaming/being abusive/typing your phone number/posting a non-acceptable web link will get you a spell on the naughty step!

If people had the option to delete anytime they could easily remove an opinion, a remark or question simply because it didn't get the reception they desired, didn't follow the herd - or because they'd said 'fuck' to Barry , 69, from Cleethorpes rather than Doris, 19, from Grimbsy on a 'kiss, fuck, pass' thread - thus seriously upsetting Barry.

As for your recent threads you've posted to being full of old threads you've posted to'?

Simply post more frequently. The 35 that show will all be more recent then!

Simples!!

A

PS - another good reason not to allow deletion is the little green arrow! It's good sometimes to see previous posts!
